The Surrey Branch of The Fly Dressers Guild meets at Effingham Golf Club on the second Monday of each month between September and the following May, with meetings normally starting at 7.30 pm. Well known fly-dressers and game-fishers are invited to attend our branch meetings to give talks, instruction and help with a variety of fishing topics. The branch programme also includes fishing outings throughout the year along with the occasional friendly fishing competition with other guild branches.
To join, simply come along to one of our meetings and introduce yourself, the first visit is totally free and without obligation. Alternatively, contact the secretary either by phone or E-mail. There are no entry qualifications; you don't have to be an expert fly-tier. An interest in fly-fishing and fly-tying is all that is required.
